A WordPress redesign that keeps everything you already earned.
Most redesigns look better and rank worse. We rebuild your site in place — new design, same URLs, same content — so the pages Google already trusts keep their position while your site finally looks and performs like the business behind it.
You are not just buying a new look.
You are trusting someone with the pages that already bring you enquiries. That is why the rebuild happens in place — we keep the structure Google has indexed, carry over the content that earns you traffic, and only then change how it looks and how fast it loads.
One team handles the design, the build, the redirects and the hosting. There is no agency handing you off to a freelancer halfway through, and no lock-in holding you after launch.
01
Built to convert, not just to look new
Every page is designed around one next step. If a section does not help a visitor decide, it does not survive the redesign.
02
Your live site stays live
The new build runs on staging while your current site keeps taking enquiries. We switch over when it is finished and tested — not before.
Why redesigns go wrong
A redesign usually fails for one of three reasons — none of them visual.
The URLs change
A new page structure means every old link now points at a 404. Rankings drop, traffic disappears, and the rebuild gets blamed on “Google being weird.”
The SEO is treated as a final step
Titles, schema and internal links get bolted on at the end by someone who was not in the design conversations. The technical work contradicts the content.
The site is slower than before
A heavier theme, more plugins and unoptimized images replace a site that was already too slow. The design looks better and the bounce rate gets worse.
Nobody owns the launch
The designer finishes, the developer moves on, and the redirects are nobody's job. That gap is where most of the damage happens.
What “SEO preserved” actually means
It is an easy phrase to put on a website. Here is the specific work behind it.
Same URLs — every indexed page keeps its address. Where a change is unavoidable, a 301 redirect is mapped before launch.
301 redirect map — a crawl of the old site, matched to the new structure, tested in staging.
Title and meta migration — existing titles and descriptions move across and get rewritten only where they were already weak.
Schema markup kept — Organization, Service and FAQ structured data carried over and extended, not rebuilt from scratch.
Internal links rebuilt — the links that pass authority around your site are recreated deliberately, not left to chance.
Search Console intact — verification preserved, sitemap resubmitted, and crawl errors monitored after launch.
Content carried across — your existing pages, posts and media are migrated rather than replaced with thinner versions.
Speed measured both ways — before and after Core Web Vitals on mobile, with the numbers in your launch report.
One honest caveat: a redesign is not a ranking guarantee. It removes the technical reasons you are being held back and gives you a site worth linking to. Rankings follow from that, plus content and links.
Five steps. Two to four weeks.
A typical small business site takes two to four weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger sites and WooCommerce builds take longer; you get a date before we start.
01
Audit
We crawl the site, read Search Console, and list every page that earns traffic. Those pages are protected through the rebuild.
02
Design
Mobile-first layouts built around one action per page. You review the design before a single line of the new site is built.
03
Build
Built on staging in WordPress. No downtime, no broken forms, and your live site keeps taking enquiries the whole time.
04
Migrate
Redirects tested, schema verified, sitemap resubmitted. This is the step most agencies skip — it is the one we spend the most time on.
05
Launch
We switch over, watch the logs and Search Console for the first two weeks, and fix anything that surfaces.
Before and after
The difference is rarely just visual. An outdated layout costs you mobile visitors, and a site with no clear next step turns interest into nothing.

Questions people ask before a redesign
Will a redesign hurt my rankings?
Not if it is done properly. Rankings fall when URLs change without redirects, content is removed, or the new site is slower. We protect all three: URLs are preserved, content is migrated, redirects are mapped and tested, and Core Web Vitals are measured before and after.
How long does it take?
A typical small business site takes two to four weeks from kickoff to launch. Single-page builds can be faster; larger sites, migrations and WooCommerce stores take longer. You get a firm timeline with your quote.
Do I need to rewrite my content?
No. Existing content is migrated as part of the rebuild. We will flag pages that are thin or out of date, but rewriting copy is a separate decision and a separate scope — not something slipped into the invoice.
Can I keep my current host?
Yes. We can build on your existing host, or move you to our managed hosting if performance is part of the problem. Migration is included when you take a hosting plan.
What happens after launch?
You get the launch report and two weeks of monitoring. After that you can take the keys and manage it yourself, or put it on a monthly care plan for updates, backups and monitoring. There is no lock-in either way.
